The history of cell phones begin in the 1800's. In 1843, Michael Faraday studied to see if space could conduct electricity and he led to the cell phone development. In 1865, Dr. Mahlon Loomis was the first person to communicate through wireless atmosphere. He was rewarded $5,000 for his research on transmitting and receiving messages through atmosphere as a conductor.


One of our many cell phone companies include Motorola. in 1973, Martin Copper came up with Motorola. He took the project to New York and let people see it. In 1973, the first cell phone was made in Chicago. When it came in 2000, people were given a free trial and other places started making cell phones. Cell phones were huge at its debut. At first, people didn't know how to make the cell phone more compact, but in 1988, the big companies started to make them. There were over 54 places all over the world making cell phones.They have designed many phones for all of our carriers and they developed the first car radio. They have noteable phones such as the Razar.

Another phone company that makes most of the phones for our phone companies is Samsung. They have made some phones like the Instinct and Instinct s30.

AT&T is one phone carrier that uses both Samsung and Motorola phones.They are currently known for their iPhone with 16 gigabytes and 3G.

There are some suitable way for parents to allow their children to have phones. Most carriers aloow you to have parental controls on the internet and follow calls and texts. Some phones are also designed for young children like the old Firefly and some Disney phones.

Cell phone companies are working together to make home phones leave our technology due to the amount of numbers available. Since we all know cell phones won't last on its battery, it's important to keep up with charging your phone, especially since they may be our only way of wireless communication.
